dream i'm in salt water

i really need this summer to be a good one.
the long winter didnt spare me when it decided to send everyone into ridiculous bitter depressions.
my eight hour days staring at an empty salt water pool in a hotel has inspired me to be more optimistic in my outlook and so was born this list of places i would like to see this summer (and into next fall) realistically if i can accomplish two or three items out of this list of about 8 or 9, i will be pretty stoked.
i added pictures for the sole purpose of making it a more entertaining read for those of you who think my life is interesting enough to follow via this blog.

1. TADOUSSAC - i have never been whale watching and i think it would be fun to see their big ol tales splash someone in the face.


2. its been at least a couple of years since i slid down a wet n slippery slide looking as happy as this father and son here, i think this year i should make it my mission to go at least once.


3. i'm a philly cheese steak virgin, untill last month i didnt know what it was, i thought it was a big slab of steak with cheese melted over it.... i intend to lose my virginity to the real thing. plus its a city ive never seen and is not that far away. beyond that, theres always potential for cheesy roadtrip singalongs to the streets of philadelphia song.


4. so many tourist attractions in niagara falls.


5. i had never been to toronto untill this past new years, and despite so many peoples bad feelings towards it, i absolutely loved the time i spent there. i really would like to go back and meander through the kensignton market without the bitter cold sending me home with frostbite.


6. i read an article saying that baltimore is the best place in the usa for crabcakes.


7. never been to chicago, my friend kristina went and loved it. her pictures made me want to go there and hang out in a pretty hotel in a luxurious puffy white bathrobe and then sightsee all day long.


8. its been two years since i went to any kind of ocean side beach. hampton is five hours away, and lined with cheap motels. no excuses, i need to go this summer. YAY GET A LIL TAN!


9. ew. when i was google image searching to add flare to my compiled list i fell upon this picture entitled "BIRTHDAY ROAD TRIP WOOOOOOO!" i'm loling.
