Info Post
Yasmin Sewell had an enormous amount of talent. She just had no idea how to express it. Her love was for fashion and clothing, but in her own words, she ‘couldn’t sew, wasn’t happy in magazines and was a crap stylist.’
The answer came when she was in London and had an idea for a clothing store which she opened with her business partner, Bridget Papoyans. The store, Yasmin Cho, went on to become a huge success. As an ex-buyer for Browns in England, she had a say in what comes into the stores and was often captured in photographs by Yvan from Facehunter. Her next venture is sure to be a great as the ones that preceded it.
Her clean-styled outfits, accessorized by ridiculous high heels and her distinctive haircut, radiate serenity. The lesson that I think we should all learn from Yasmin Sewell is that if you love something, never stop trying to express it.
