Stone Goddess

Anita Pallenberg:was born in Rome, Italy. January 25th, with the year falling anywhere from 1942 to 1946. She is of Swiss, Swedish and German decent and has one older sister. Although both a model (featured on several high-profile magazine covers, such as Vogue) and actress in the 1960s and 1970s, Pallenberg is best known for her tumultuous affairs with three members of the Rolling Stones and her subsequent inspiration of several of their songs (including "Angie," "You Got the Silver" and "Gimmee Shelter"). She met Brian Jones in March of 1965 backstage after a concert and became immediately involved with him. Two years later, she left her abusive relationship with Jones and started an affair with Keith Richards that would last more than a decade and produce three children (Marlon, Angela and Tara). The youngest child, Tara, died in infancy. Anita is the original rock chick along with Marianne Faithfull, with whom she is still friends with today.
