Icy, self-possessed, sophisticated and aloof: I adore the archetype of a Hitchcock blonde. I've been nicknamed 'Tippi' before (when I too was an icy aloof blonde), but my favourite is the white-gloved and oh-so posh Grace Kelly. I went to the Grace Kelly exhibition at the V&A museum recently, and it re-ignited my appreciation for her chic and subtle style. Simple is so hard to do, and Grace did it wonderfully. This Vanity Fair article about her is a wonderful read too.
