Info Post
One of the great things about moving to another country is all the amazing people that you meet. I met Sayaka Maruyma and Tomihiro Kono last year. They are one of the most inspiring people I have ever met, not only because of their art and work but also because of their persona.

Sayaka is an artist/photographer, Tomi is a hairstylist (I would describe him as hair artist) and he also makes the most amazing bespoke headpieces.

If you have read about the art term of the Wunderkammer or the Cabinet of Curiosities (an assemble of art objects and curiosities brought together) that can be applied to their house. Everytime I visit them at their home I could spend hours looking at all of the things that they have, all of Tomi's headpieces made up of various things, Sayaka's art. They collect books, clothing and other amazing unique things. They are also incredibly informed about art, music and photography and always show me some books I haven't seen before or tell me about artist or photographers that I haven't heard of.

Their most current project is Japanese avant-garde photos series now exhibited in Exit Gallery in Clare du Ruen books on Charing cross road in Soho. I highly recommend you check it out, the images will blow you away!!!!!
