Seven's A Banquet, Nine A Brawl

Just a quick update for where I am up to regarding my sewing. It's been pretty intense. Expect to see some of these soon.

L-R - Cream and red floral strapless dress, black and white embrodiered dress (excuse my polka dotted foot), cream, red and black button dress. The first is thrift material, the other two stor bought. The first two are altered vintage patterns, the last my own design.

L-R - Blue silk dress with inverted pleats and petal collar, strapless two-tone dress, numeral pleat dress. The first and last are thrifted material. The first is my own design, the middle is a vintage pattern top attached to a thrift pencil skirt and the last is from a vintage pattern.

Whew! Of everything, I'm most proud of the middle dress in the second picture. It was quick, easy and effective. It also buttons up the back above the zip in the skirt. I'll could do a instructional post if anyone is interested. It's the best way to use printed material when you only have a little bit.

And finally I've only pictured six but there are actually nine things I've finished. Another dress, a skirt and a cushion. I should really stop making so many dresses. They aren't even that practical, but they are so pretty and swishy.
