During my time away, I have - seen the Mars Volta live (I nearly passed out when Cedric came on stage), been to the casino, been to an actual vintage store (Box Vintage), went to the casino and the art gallery, saw another friends band play, and caught numerous planes and trains. Quite the weekend.
As for my new purchases, there were a few. It's far too cold here to try some of them on for you but I've tried to make the pictures look enticing anyway - though my art direction isn't quite up to the standard of The Cherry Blossom Girl or Little Parisienne.
Arcade Fire shirt, irregular black and white striped wool jumper, black and grey corset style top, black and white bow cardigan and finally black and white striped top with bow detail. Seems I have an addiction to black and white, stripes and bows. I'm not really that surprised.

And finally, the shoes, the shoes! I only bought the two pair (both flats too, sadly) but the black t-bar flats I have been wanting for ages. So I was so excited when I found them on sale!
Reading back over this, I realised that I might sound as though my speech is a bit old fashioned. I can attribute this to the fact that since I have been back I have done nothing but watch Jane Austen movies and sew. So hopefully these odd speech patterns will subside when I go back out and rejoin society.
