1. Macadamia Nuts
We are lucky enough to have a macadamia nut tree at our house. I adore them, and I hoard them like a squirrel, and every so often spend an afternoon cracking them open.
2. Nautical chair
We had a chair we loved, and found some Ralph Lauren material on sale. I love anything nautical so this has pride of place in the corner of our bedroom.
3. Dunedin Spring water
The best kept secret in Dunedin. The best water I have ever tasted comes from a tap outside the Speight's factory. It's chilled deep ground water from underneath the factory, and amazingly, it's free. People queue for it.

4. Beige
The Chanel restaurant in Tokyo is by Michelin star restaurateur Alain Ducasse. Sit on the gold Chanel tweed as the sun shines through the 10th floor while you a Japanese French fusion. A treat.
5. My Leica
I have a Leica M2 from 1954 and works perfectly. Every so often I'll use it for my street shots. It confounds people as they watch me 'wind on' the roll to the next image.
6. Piano music on a wet day
I've always loved sitting on the couch on a rainy day listening to solo piano music like Chopin, maybe a little Schumann. Reminds me of French film perhaps...
7. Being out in the city
There's nothing more energising than getting out in the city and walking around taking shots. Listening to the sounds, watching the people go about their everyday life. I love it.
8. The Wintergarden
A quiet haven in the centre of Auckland.
9. Coopers beer
I love beer, but I love Coopers beer. It's Australian but I've overlooked that little issue. If you're in Auckland try it in the bottle at D.O.C on K'rd.
10. Dusty second hand books
Small dusty paperbacks that fit easily into your bag. There's a kind of romance about them. I bought an ancient edition about the life of Dior for my girlfriend Tabitha - she said it was the best present ever.
