Info Post
I have a very small, potted garden on my balcony. I grow coriander, basil (purple and green), parsley, thyme, oregano, mint, rosemary and lettuces. I can't wait to have a house with lots of space outdoors, so I can grow everything. I love gardening, the smell of dirt, eating food I have grown, making something out of nothing but seeds and earth and water. Look at this magical rooftop garden. It's in New York, and was created by a woman named Annie Novak. She has honey bees, baby rabbits, corn, basil, lettuces - you name it. Gardens can be anywhere. In fact, my friend Callum recently set up an amazing business called Habitat Roofs, which makes roof gardens possible.

I read about this particular entry on Capture the Castle, a very good blog.
