Info Post
I'd be very happy if I unwrapped any or all of these books this Christmas/birthday.
20th Century Fashion by Alison A. Nieder and Jim Heimann
With over 500 fashion advertisements from 1900 to 1999; amazing.

Pink: The Exposed Colour in Contemporary Art and Culture, by Barbara Nemitz
A velour-bound book on the nature of the colour pink, with works by about 50 artists. I've wanted this book for so long!

Allure by Diana Vreeland
Jackie O encouraged Diana Vreeland to write this book in the 1980s, a "classic volume on what defines the quality of allure". It was republished earlier this year, now with a foreword by Marc Jacobs.

Fashion Designers Sketchbooks by Hywel Davies
Designers open up their sketchbooks and showcase their research material, photographs, mood boards, toiles, fabric swatches, lookbooks and more, giving an insight into their creative process - including my favourite, Luella.
