I realized I that I hadn't posted my pictures from last years journey down to South America. Samantha Pleet's family was kind enough to ask me to accompany them on their travels through Argentina and Uruguay. Have any of you ever been?

I miss the old city of Buenos Aires, the spanish colonial architecture and fantastic antique shops filled with lacey blouses and old cameras (especially Gil Antiguedades for it's impressively maintained basement of art deco inspired wedding gowns and french feathered headpieces). I miss the rustic estancias in Uruguay and the meals shared that lasted hours. Ah! How quickly the honey grappa was consumed!

Those South American days were spent horse back riding through Eucalyptus forests after enjoying naked outdoor showers and canoeing down snake rivers. Time was well spent sipping on goblets of red wine wrapped in winter scarf overlooking the Rio De La Plata.
