I love gardening. Mine is wilting, half dead. I like the ritual, the watering. My dearest neighbour talks to hers, pats her herbs as she works. I think I should take a leaf out of this girl's book, take time, talk to them, treat my herbs like they deserve. Tomorrow, I am going to get up really early, buy liquid plant food, some more potting mix, some seedlings - get some dirt under my nails.
