Vietnam protesters often wore tie-dye and psychedelic printed scarves, capes, casual ponchos, Afhgan sheepskin coats, hand-knitted crochet, long patchwork skirts, and gypsy-style peasant shirts. A reaction against the wipe-clean PVC and smooth lines of the 1960's.
