This is a novel concept: the filmmakers of a new documentary film about David Lynch are asking you - yes, you - to contribute US$50 to help fund their film. It's being called "crowdfunding" - help the filmmakers by giving money, and in return you get access to exclusive footage, the chance to ask the director questions and receive a limited edition print, t-shirt or tote bag with an abstract self-portrait by Lynch. Plus you get to feel good about yourself for supporting independents. I think it's a great idea - because being creative and working on a project is fun and all of that, but in the end . . . money talks. You can contribute
