Talisa Sutton works for The Corner Shop, one of our favourite Sydney boutiques. She also studies design and is the mastermind behind the Corner Shop blog, as well as working on her own one with her boyfriend. We love her sweet style and impeccable taste, so without further ado we present her ten favourite things...
1. Karen Walker Salzburg USA
I love the shorts and jackets, the styling and the neutral colour palette with hints of rust and peach. My inspiration for summer is Sissy Spacek in Badlands and 3 Women.
2. The Asia Pacific Triennale
I was lucky enough to catch the last day of this exhibition at Queensland's Gallery Of Modern Art. It was amazing to see so many large scale artworks and installations in such a beautiful space. It was also the first time I have seen the work one of my favourite artists, Yoshitomo Nara, in person.
3. An Education
Since the DVD release of this a few weeks ago, I can't stop watching it. The beautiful cinematography, the perfect casting, Paris!
4. White dresses
My favourites!
5. Typography
It is my ultimate dream as a design student to be able to do something like this.
6. HBO
True Blood, The Wire, and waiting for Bored to Death to be released in Australia.
7. My study/office
We just moved into a place this year that has a little study/office. Having lived in a studio for so long, it's lovely to have a room solely dedicated to work/ creative projects.
8. Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami
This is one of my favourite novels which I often re-read. Beautiful although very sad, it deals with the transition from teenager to adult, love, loss and choosing to live in the past or the present.
9. Diana mini camera
I love this camera. It's so nice to take a break from digital and play around with the multiple exposure function, I can't wait to get my first round of film developed.
10. Lula Magazine
My favourite magazine, every page is filled with something beautiful.
we love talisa and talisa loves...
