Info Post
Rhiannon's blog Liebemarlene Vintage is one of Zoe and I's favourites. We like dreaming about living in the Southern states of the US, thrifting and visiting historical places with dreamy dresses on just like she does. It's just so pretty! I love it when we do a top ten and I learn about things - how could I not know Jarvis Cocker has a radio show? It made my day...

Carson McCullers: I just got done reading a biography on Carson McCullers, and if I met her in person I don't think I'd like her, but right now I'm obsessed with her books and short stories, especially The Member of The Wedding, which gave me eerie flashbacks and made me feel like I was 12 years old again.

Twenty-Seven Names' new collection: I think I may have first heard about the label on this blog. Right now I'm obsessed with a lot of Australian and New Zealand labels, but maybe Twenty-Seven Names most of all, if only for the pretty-edginess of this collection and the fact that they can do little white dresses that don't look the least bit cutesy.

Kimchi: When I went to Korea in 2003 I didn't think I'd really like kimchi but I ended up loving it and really missing it after my trip. So now that I've found that the local grocery store is stocking it I think I buy it every week. It is addictive, and, according to a local radio health guru, supposedly amazing for you?

Dores: (http://doreshandmade.blogspot.com/) I love lots of blogs right now, but this one has a special place for me. It might be because Stephanie is a midwesterner like me or because she posts about amazing collections, but I think it probably has most to do with her perfectly simple outfits and the great jewelry she makes.

Baking: For a while I was baking cupcakes and muffins and cookies and cakes every weekend. It got to the point where I'd spend lots of time online looking for recipes during the week, plotting out what sort of bad-for-you thing I'd be baking once Sunday rolled around. I'm trying to get a healthier hobby though.

Finding ugly '90s clothes at the thrift stores: I sell vintage, but right now what I get most excited about finding are funny things from the '90s, maybe because I know I won't feel as guilty when they end up in my closet instead of my Ebay store. Really I just like how they look though.

Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service: In the '90s when Jarvis was in Pulp I think I had a big crush on him. Now that he has a radio program on the BBC I think of him almost as a nerdy older brother with good, grown-up taste in music and books, and whenever I listen I try to soak up his smartness, but it never really works.

Silent Screen Queen's Flickr stream: (http://www.flickr.com/photos/silent_screen_queen/) I love silent movies, but I may love looking at silent film photos online as much as I do actually watching the films. This Flickr stream has more photos than I can possibly go through, with more added every day; whenever I want to procrastinate this is where I go now.

Rachel Comey clogs: Well, I'd be happy with any pair of Rachel Comey shoes, but these really are the ultimate to me right now.

Tennessee trips: My favorite weekend trips always involve going to Tennessee to visit my parents.
