So Mike left on Monday, and since then, I've been finding random post it notes hidden in my room with super sweet messages on them. He has never left on tour without planning some sweet surprise like that and I swear to God it melts my little heart every time!
I hate to gush about my relationship here on this blog, but some days I just can't believe how lucky I am! He's off exploring castles in Slovenia with his 4 best friends in the whole world and I'm sending him all my best thoughts! If anyone has suggestions of sweet things I can do for him from a distance please send them to me!! I'm usually fairly imaginative when it comes to thoughtful surprises, but it feels like this month the sea of essays, proposals and annotated bibliographies I'm floating around in has got the creative side of my brain all tied up!
The title of this post was a lyric of a song I heard on that McGill radio station this morning...but I didn't catch the name of it. It was kinda country-ish and sung by a girl with a pretty squeaky voice....any ideas?
