Info Post
I woke up with the intention of dedicating a post entirely to the Trans Siberian Orchestra show Mike's Mom took us to last night, but short of rambling redundantly about how awesome they were I couldn't think of any words that would really do them justice.
Suffices to say that they are definitely worth checking out and that if I wasn't already eye ball deep in festive fever, I am now!
Basically, for those of you who don't know about TSO, it's like the offspring of Santa Claus and all the 80's hair metal you can think of. Guitar "Squeelies" (just for you Stef and Steena) harmonizing to the tunes of Pachelbel's Canon and Joy to the World! In one word, awesome!

On another note, I have to thank my Mom for the clever (belated) birthday gift she gave me. Season 1 of the original 90210 with a note letting me know I'm finally old enough to watch it - To my great chagrin I wasn't allowed to watch a single episode until after it got canceled.
I'm jump starting it with an all day long marathon at work today and although I'm in total admiration of the 90's Beverley Hills lingo and attitude I don't think I'm as ready as everyone else for this huge 90's fashion revival yet.
I'll settle for admiring it from afar while I'm stuck in my 5-year-old-girl from the 1920's daydream.
I did however order myself a pair of frames that are sort of reminiscent of Andrea Zuckerman's, so maybe I'm closer to kicking it old school than I'm willing to admit.

I have to give a quick thanks to Miss Libby Waltz for downloading so much great music to my computer for me! The intention was that I'd be able to listen to it on the train rides across Europe but in my feverish excitement to leave I forgot to put the tune son my iPod and so I'm listening to them now, and she was right on the ball about what I'd like. Thanks Libby!

I leave you with two of my favourites from the stuff she's given me as well as a link to the house I would really like a few of us to get together and rent. It's 3000$ a month, heating, hot water, cable, electricity, snow removal, gardner, monthly house cleaning service, gazette subscription and home phone line included. There are 6 bedrooms. Come on people lets make it happen! Oh there is also a backyard, a fireplace and three bathrooms as well as a brand new stainless steel kitchen. Its in NDG on Monkland.
