These two photos have been posted by Scott from The Sartorialist on his blog a few minutes ago. The guy above, I don't know who he is, but the one below is my best friend Jean Paul Paula, with who I was in Paris aswell.
The post to me is quite interesting as the guys sort of look the same, but took whatever they feel inside, to show on the outside, both in a complete different way.
For some, the first can be too much, for other Jean Paul can be aswell, mostly since he's wearing heels. But whatever you may think, to me it seems as if both guys may push the limites but their styles are pure. They own it and it isn't a poser-thing.
Yet I do wonder on which level people can get inspired by this, or maybe it's too much at once for a lot of others. I also think you will see this kind of style more and more. Also for the Afro-American or maybe I should say black-kids around, I've been seeing a lot of great styles floating around.
Anyone any opinions? Because where is the line for you, what will give you the edge? Only the hair, or maybe the sunglasses or even them heels? I wonder. x
