Oh, a-camping we will go…

Via Black Eiffel, these Sofie Andersson photos made me nostalgic for the burnt orange VW camper van my family had when I was a kid. We'd drive up and down the eastern seaboard on camping trips every summer. It had a pop-up top and my brother and I would share the top bunk; we thought it was the coolest thing, like funky bunk beds.


I love the idea of outfitting a retro camper with plenty of vintage housewares. And I'd definitely also need a pull-out awning adorned with Christmas lights, where we could sit in lawn chairs and drink cold beer under the stars.

Now, my roadtrip goals include a major cross-country thrifting adventure. Wouldn't that be incredibly fun? One of these days…
