A special issue of 16 Magazine on The Beatles, from 1966. These photos document the transition of the group, right around the Rubber Soul sessions. From then on, all the songs on their records were originals. The Beatles began to experiment with sounds and instruments and they spent much more time in the studio than ever before. Their days of touring were winding down, soon they would become primarily a studio band.
