1. after a very stressful week mike and i were desperate to get drunk but had very little money, we attempted to drink the gin the previous tenants at my apartment left behind, and then went to l'Astral 2000 alone to sing Aerosmith and Paula Abdul on stage with two old men and a couple of out-of-town metal heads.
2. a couple weeks ago we spontaneously decided to drive down to Ottawa to see my parents and my Aunt and Uncle. We ended up aimlessly wandering around Parliament Hill for a couple of hours...these were the result...

4. On our way back from aforementioned spontaneous ottawa trip, we stopped at the curd cheese fest where we modeled St-Albert Curd Cheese gear (such as the hat shown below) and saw the factory where they make the curds. (note, there was also a fair outside - hence the "festival" title)
5. Last October Mike and I spent the weekend at a cottage in Sutton and carved pumpkins, made cookies, pet horses and ate at a delicious cordon bleu restaurant where I made a failed attempt at stealing the air freshener out of the bathroom....
