Ingrid Starnes is a designer who makes me want to grow up and start dressing like a woman. Less cutesy, I love-Lula-and-cupcakes, and more serene lady who looks chic and pulled together even when sitting on the couch watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The type of woman who'd bust out the pencil skirt and tailored paisley dress for a very important business meeting, and wear the cardigan and full silk skirt while walking the streets of Paris. Or something like that... Anyway, isn't her new winter 2011 collection lovely? And for those who in Auckland, Starnes is opening a three-month store-within-a-store inside the Miss Crabb boutique on December 1, and will launch a lingerie line as well.
