I've fallen completely in love with the loose-fitted, drop waist dresses of the 1920's. I have my eye on three or four of them in my watched items on e-bay and paired with the little cloche hat i just bought they will be absolutely amazing!
I blame the holidays, and a general over-eating, under-exercising routine for my new found appreciation for looser fitting dresses.
Either way, I can't stop searching for fur collars, bow ties, drop waists and sequins! I've even been plagued with a desire to cut my hair into one of those adorable 1920's bobs!
(Although I'll never go through with it! I'm only just starting to see results in the growing out process!)
I'm so excited to learn more about this decade in my American History class, and read works by Kafka, Hemingway and Eliot to get a little more insight into the era!
For now I'll settle for you-tubing (only at work Stef!) old jazzy songs and videos of people dancing the Charleston!
I hope you have a lovely day!
