It takes a village to get me to wear pumps, but when your good friend is celebrating a birthday, you pull out all the stops--including comfort. So I decided to balance the ladies who lunch shoes with old ankle length Levis 501's. These are one of my all time favorite jean cuts, awkward high-water length and all, and the semi-high waist/button fly combo makes your butt look like Cindy Crawford's in that Pepsi commercial.
