Céline Bi-Cabas In Black Lambskin And Houndstooth Wool Tweed

Céline Cabas mania has strike again... although it was months ago since I acquired this new addition to my Céline cabas collection. This 4th cabas to my cabas family is still ranking top on my beloved list of bags in my 'bag harem':-)

I have always loved the simplicity of the cabas design. Especially the bi-material ones... different mix of textures and materials creates the most interesting appeal. And this new one (from FW2011 collection) features a champagne tone houndstooth wool tweed fabric which gives the bag a preppy attitude well suited for the modern dandy. Wear the bag with suits, smart shoes and add some sartorial flair any day. I love the champagne tone as well, subdued and yet not boring while matches almost any spectrum of your wardrobe colours.

Happy Spring..

Over the past week we have been moving both home and studio into our new city apartment, it's been none stop packing and unpacking for far too long so I'm happy to have this weekend to relax and enjoy the space we now call home. It's been so beautiful here in Manchester with Spring fully on it's way. We managed to sneak out of our box ridden home to grab some rays in our nearby park in the afternoons and make the most of the lovely warm weather. I have been taking my cookbooks along to inspire yummy dishes to cook in our new spacious kitchen. I could not resist trying a batch of Banana muffins for my Mr's Birthday from the Scrumptious Muffins recipe book, there are so many good flavours in there that we LOVE and many more I can't wait to try!.

we had the pleasure to view a few designs from some swedish brands while our stay in stockholm.here we go.
1+2:the jewellery designs from talented Anna Tascha are a very cool mix of mystic symbols and alchemistic spirit.
3+4. Seika Lee. glad i got to know the brand as they had a brilliant black coat that must be mineminemine as soon as their online shop is up. clean designs and very impressive tailoring.
last but not least 5+6: experiments with metals like copper, which might change over time, and a cool raw finish is what Unravel stands for.

Deco hair style

What's great about vintage hairstyles is that most of them are really easy to cut yourself. I usually cut my own hair, not because I'm particularity good at it or too cheap to go to a hairdresser, but because I like following my own hair visions instead of relying on a stylist. I can admit that I do get weird hair surprises sometimes when I cut my hair, but usually I find a way to work it and it's kind of fun to see what character I become. For spring I'm very influenced by the 1920's and 1930's spirit and fashion. So I decided to cut my hair in a super short french bob. Because I had something specific in mind, I used a lot of reference this time.

The style I chose is almost synonymous with the time era, but it's also a very easy haircut. To get the right curl at the end of the hair, you can use bobby pins after you've washed your hair, and the hair should stay in place more or less.
