the new new.

Have you seen this!

Interview Magazine did a little something on the new new gen in fashion. Putting together the names we may know, who are actually the ones we should know! Next they did a feature with the labels all together, just see how strong it looks! I wish I could do this..

Maybe I should get my ass to NYC to intern at Interview. However, didn't Karl Templer left Interview? Because if I would like to intern, it will be assisting Karl. Dah! Ha. Maybe I need his contact information. Yeah! Anyone?

Eitherway, peek this, read it and see more at: www.interviewmagazine.com/fashion/the-new-new

And oh, sorry for the volume-thingy in some of the printscreen-shots. Apple TV was fucking my Macbook while taking the items/photos from the website of Interview. Ha. x

i heart joris bruring.

I'm not even sure if he's a streetphotographer, but I do know I adore the photos he takes. He shot the marvelous shot of me outside the AIFW-tents this January. Who still remains as my profile photo on Facebook.

But besides that, Joris Bruring is a cool guy who is set to do even cooler things. Hope to see him in Paris again next week. And it seems he recently started a blog, finally, ha. Peek his work at www.bruring.net/wordpress

milano rtw fall/winter 2009-10.

I'm so upset. And this time it's not that mucho about my personal life, but mostly about fucking fashionweek, the new season, and most most mostly about Milano. Nah-ah. So far, not so good. I don't get it, it's too wearable and too.. nothing new.

I hope the upcoming shows are better. Burberry and mostly Jil Sander, they really let me down in Milano. I did like a bit of Gianfranco, see below, and that's horrible aswell, because their show last season was close to being, or may be, my fav!

Gianfranco Ferré
Not as strong as last season, but cool. Maybe too mucho too late. Nothing new, but very nice. I need to see closeup, details. x

check-up.

just a lil' note to say hello....i'm nearly half-way thru my rendezvous with home. so much to show'n'tell but i will save it for when i'm back in london.

in between family-time, good eats and giggles with old and dear friends, i've been sorting thru my mountain of a closet and saying good-bye to things one-by-one. this was load no. 1 to take to design archives....and there are several loads going to goodwill as well. it's invigorating to do a lil' de-tox and wouldja believe me if i said i've bought only one bag of goodies so far......?

more from me very soon.

The Big Bang

I totally dig this lady's unique style. Her chunky bowl cut bangs, bright red lipstick, and awesome outfit create a modern and elegant look. It's so much fun to take a photo of such a vibrant and bold person.

Fashion Eccentric

Diana Vreeland: (born Diana Dalziel on July 29, 1903 in Paris, FranceAugust 22, 1989) was a noted columnist and editor in the field of fashion. She began her work in fashion at Harper's Bazaar and later became the editor of Vogue. She inspired everyone from debutantes to drag queens with her mark on fashion. Or perhaps it was the other way around. With her heavily rouged cheekbones, mile-long lashes and red lacquer everywhere - trademarks that identified her for decades - one could imagine they were in the presence of a modern Watteau, reality presented to the viewer with a gentle caress. In terms of her personal style, Diana loved simple elegant clothing with splashy accessories. Exotic jewelry, hats and wonderful shoes were among her favorite fashion items.

*Stardust*

And now the purple dusk of twilight time
Steals across the meadows of my heart
High up in the sky the little stars climb
Always reminding me that were apart
You wander down the lane and far away
Leaving me a song that will not die
Love is now the stardust
Of yesterday
The music
Of the years
Gone by
